Other Art I love to do.

People who know me know that I love to create art with senior citizens.  I have taught art at an Assisted Living for 9 years.  Many of my "students" have beginning to mid level dementia or Alzheimer"s.  Some have vision issues.  Nonetheless, we create art.  I even came up with a special technique after watching one of my students with Lewy Body Dementia.  We mostly paint greeting cards so their art can easily be shared with family members to cherish.  Dubbed "The Monet Club", it is where Grandma can become Grandma Moses.  I will come to a loved one's home or facility and help them create art.  I charge $25 per hour.  Some examples of art created by seniors is here. 

I also have a series of drawings that I have done of my Amish friends' children.  We agreed I would not draw their faces due to their religious beliefs.  I sell prints of many of these as well as notecards.  I am hoping to produce a calendar in the near future. 

My other medium that I love is photography.  I sell photo greeting cards mad with high quality Strathmore card stock.
